Ms. Evans grew up in Aberdeen, Maryland, graduating from Aberdeen High School.  She worked in the legal department of Mercantile-Safe Deposit and Trust Company while attending the Weekend College of Notre Dame, where she graduated magna cum laude.  She then graduated with honors from the University of Baltimore Law School.  She was the recipient of the Law Faculty Award, and named to the Heuisler Honor Society (top ten percent) and Law Review.  Ms. Evans was named one of the Daily Record’s Top 100 Women in 2008 and 2018.  She was the recipient of the Athena Award in 2016 and received the Harford County Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame Award in 2004.  She is a past member of the Maryland Transportation Authority, and a past president of the Chesapeake Professional Women’s Network, Harford County Chamber of Commerce, and Bel Air Rotary Club where she remains an active member.  Carolyn presently serves on the Board of Directors of Harford Bank,  and the Rockfield Foundation. She is a trustee of the Maryland Center for the Visual and Performing Arts, where she serves as Board President.  Carolyn and her husband Tom live in Fallston where their children graduated from Fallston High School.

Carolyn Wilson Evans

Carolyn Evans handles a variety of civil matters, including estate administration, landlord tenant, purchases and sales of businesses (including liquor licenses), bankruptcy (creditor and debtor) and corporate matters.

 

Prior to joining the Law Offices of Anthony J. DiPaula, PA, she worked for Sengstacke & Evans, LLC, a general practice firm in Harford County.  Ms. Evans represents clients on a wide-variety of civil matters, from partition actions, corporate formation, estate claims and caveat actions to reviewing leases and assisting clients with the purchases and sales of businesses.
